Toronto United Church Council owns the land and buildings of four of the five overnight camps within the Shining Waters Regional Council area, providing them at no charge to the camping corporations.
Camping programs help children and youth develop healthy lifestyles, self-esteem, independence, leadership skills and environmental awareness. The camps’ natural environment opens young minds to dream the impossible and contemplate life’s big questions. Active, outdoor programming helps campers to develop practical physical skills.
We are a proud partner in the care and development of our camping programs that provide an outdoor camping opportunity to over 2,200 children and youth from Toronto and southern Ontario every year.

Contribute to these great ministries!
The Camping Opportunities Fund helps to send more than 500 children to camp each year.
TUCC has established Capital Care and Maintenance Funds of each of the camps. Contribute to those funds by making a gift to TUCC via its general fund.
