TEAM MINISTRY TRAINING
Almost every community of faith is operating with a staff team, even if it is not officially named “a team ministry.” Every staff person (or volunteer fulfilling a typical staff role) has an important role to play in an interlocking set of relationships that shapes the ministry of the congregation. Working effectively as a team is a key component to providing effective ministry.
TUCC understands that teams function within a congregational system. Building successful team ministry needs to be understood within an interconnected network of relationships and dynamics.
Understanding and managing the assumptions, expectations, joys and pitfalls of each of these dimensions, within the team and within the congregation, is critical to becoming a successful team.
