Toronto Southeast Presbytery Major Capital Fund - Open Only to Communities of Faith in Shining Waters Regional Council
Communities of faith associated with the former Toronto Southeast Presbytery on September 19th, 2017 may be eligible for grant funding to enable them to engage in urgent capital work when regular loan arrangements are not affordable. Grant funding may also be available for the staffing and start-up costs of new ministry initiatives. Communities of faith located in the geographical area of the former Toronto Southeast Presbytery are eligible to apply.

Halton United Church Extension Council Fund - Open Only to Communities of Faith in Horseshoe Falls Regional Council
The Halton United Church Extension Council Fund, stewarded by the Toronto United Church Council (TUCC), provides grants of up to $20,000 per project to support churches and communities of faith within Horseshoe Falls Regional Council in making their facilities more accessible.
Established by the former Extension Council in partnership with TUCC, the fund is grounded in the belief that accessibility goes beyond physical modifications. It includes a wide range of adaptations that promote inclusion, enhance safety, and ensure all individuals feel welcomed and supported in congregational spaces and communities of faith.
Eligible applicants include all communities of faith within the Horseshoe Falls Regional Council.
Applications for 2025 are closed. Applications for 2026 will be open between October 1st and November 14th, 2026. The full criteria for qualifying projects, and application requirements can be found HERE. Grant applications can be completed online.
Previous Recipients:
- 2025: East Plains United Church for their Primary Accessibility Walkway Restoration Project and Westdale United Church for their Chancel Accessibility Ramp Project.
