At TUCC, we believe that church buildings are more than bricks and mortar – they are living spaces for ministry, symbols of God’s presence in community, and vital resources for sustainable mission. Through our Loan Programs, we help congregations invest in their facilities so they can continue to offer hospitality, nurture community life, and generate revenue to support ongoing ministry. Whether it’s upgrading a kitchen for outreach meals, making buildings more accessible, or adapting space for shared use, we understand that strengthening your physical space strengthens your ministry.
In keeping with our mission – connecting resources with ministry – these programs are funded either through church-to-church generosity or through the stewardship of the legacies of both congregations and individuals. Our core Capital Loan Program pool is supported by participants in the Investing in Ministry Fund, while the Sustainable Energy Loan Fund (SELF) and the Toronto South-East Presbytery – Major Capital Fund (TSEP) have been primarily made possible by the faithful stewardship of some of the proceeds from church property sales.
Every loan made is an investment in the future of vibrant ministry. With flexible options and a deep understanding of the sacred and practical value of church buildings, TUCC is here to help your community of faith or incorporated ministry thrive.
