Toronto United Church Council has a long tradition of providing loans to United Church congregations and mission units for property acquisition and for capital repairs, renovations, and retrofits.  You are invited to review our financing information brochure which describes in more detail the type of loans available and shares endorsements from previous borrowers.

Additional and more detailed information is available in Council's Loan Policy.  Completing our fillable and/or printable Loan/Mortgage application form is the first step in the process.  Send the completed form - and the additional required information - to Toronto United Church Council, Unit 24, 30 Wertheim Court, Richmond Hill, ON  L4B 1B9.

Congregations carrying out the retrofit recommendations resulting from a building environmental audit may be eligible for low-interest financing from Council's Sustainable Energy Loan Fund (SELF) .

Alternate financing for your project may be available from the capital funding programs of the General Council of The United Church of Canada.

If your project is to assist in the economic development of disadvantaged people or communities, financing may be available from The Canadian Alternative Investment Co-operative.

For more information on financing from Council, contact Vincent Alfano at vince@tucc.ca or at 905-771-5124 / 1-800-235-8822.
